Girdle of Dwarvenkind This belt lowers the wearers' Charisma score by 1 with respect to nondwarves and their ilk. The girdle causes the wearer to gain one point of Charisma with respect to halflings of the stout sort and with respect to all gnomes as well. Dwarves regard the wearer as if he has Charisma two points higher than before. The girdle enables the wearer to understand, speak, and read dwarvish language. The wearer also gains the racial benefits of dwarvenkind (i.e., +1 Constitution, saving throw bonuses based on total Constitution, 60-foot infravision, and detection/determination of approximate depth underground as described in the Player's Handbook). All bonuses and penalties apply only as long as the individual actually wears the girdle. Benefits such as additional languages and combat bonuses against giant-type-opponents never apply.

Girdle of Kingly Pleasures This girdle gives the wearer an automatic charisma of 18 when worn. The wearer will be offered the best of conditions when he enters a town or city. Say for instance he comes to a Large City. The guards will escort him to the palace and there he would be accepted as a royal guest of honor and would have full cooperation of the King. The wearer however is not seen as a king, but as a very important person who should enjoy all the Kingly pleasures of the earth. This girdle does not allow command over anyone, but with a charisma of 18 the wearer has a better chance of persuading people to do so. The people receiving the wearer as a guest make a saving throw versus spell to see if the girdle makes them believe the wearer. If they save, there is no effect, but if they don't make their save, they are to believe the wearer to be very important. For every person the wearer has that thinks he is important, the belt gains a +1 chance to charm those around it (+1 to saving throw rolls). So if he has three people that believe him to be important and they are with him, then all those around have a +3 penalty to their saves. This bonus only reaches +7 after that it can go no higher.
